With a Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General and state lawmakers joining the cause, EndDD.org reached out to drivers and their passengers in Delaware and Pennsylvania, especially teenagers, with an urgent and life-saving warning to change their driving habits and stop driving distracted.
The West Chester University Alpha Epsilon Chapter of the national honors fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi, will be hosting a 5K walk/run this Sunday, April 21, 2013 as its fourth annual fundraiser for the Casey Feldman Foundation/EndDD.org. Since it is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and Casey was killed by a distracted driver, the fraternity hopes to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving.

The EndDD.org presentation was taken to teens in Nevada this past week with a training session also for Nevada volunteer speakers who will continue to spread the effort throughout the state. This is the moment where I showed the students a slide with photos of Casey and myself throughout our time together, as well as two Facebook wall posts from Casey. In this moment, the audience realized my direct connection to this cause and the root of my passion for this issue.

The EndDD campaign has been taken to Massachusetts and kicked off at the State Capital in a press conference
In the largest study of its kind to date, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report last month revealing that 4.2% of drivers reported falling asleep at the wheel within the previous 30 days.
While Joel Feldman and other volunteers have given dozens of EndDD.org distracted driving presentations at PA high schools over the past year, the Pennsylvania Association of Justice (PAJ) declared their decision to come on board at Joel’s presentation on Feb. 15, 2013 at The Church Farm School in Exton.
