Are you going to be in or around Philadelphia on October 31st or Las Vegas on November 15th? Do you run (and/or walk) and would you like to do so with the EndDD.org team to End Distracted Driving? Live rock-n-roll music, refreshments and cheering crowds will inspire you along the Rock-n-Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon (#RnRPhilly) course through historic Philadelphia and the beautiful Kelly and Martin Luther King Drives beside the Schuylkill River. The start time is 7:30 am.
In Las Vegas, the half marathon race will take you through the strip at night! Starting time there is 4:30 pm. Consider joining us for the fun in this iconic city! #StripAtNight
Las Vegas will be our 4th race and the 3rd half marathon in the series for EndDD.org. Travelers Insurance is sponsoring 3 of our runners and donating $100 for each mile run by the 3 team members as part of their “My Drive Comes From” campaign. Please consider joining our team for either race. We would like to make a big Philly statement In EndDD.org’s hometown and in Vegas as well. Wouldn’t a mass of pink End Distracting Driving team members and supporters be fabulous? You will be running for a worthy cause!
Philadelphia Half Marathon – Saturday, October 31, 2015, 7:30 am
1) Register with the Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon Philadelphia, ($119 registration fee) and
2 Contact us to let know that you are joining us and provide us with your full name, home city, shirt size and designate male or female (important for shirt size). Also let us know if you prefer sleeveless, short sleeved or long sleeved. [email protected]
3) Tell us how many supporters will be showing up to cheer you on and we’ll make sure that they get shirts as well.
4) Pick up your race bib the day before the race at the Expo Center and then come to the Travelers’ Insurance Company booth to say hello, pick up your shirt and join us for pictures. We will be there between 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
5) The day of the race we will all meet at 7:00 am. We will be in touch with you by October 28th to finalize the team meeting place and details.
6) Consider donating to EndDD’s efforts and make a tax deductible donation – designate Philly Race in your contribution.
