I learned more about how a chunk of steel might behave on the road if you crashed it and how to hopefully prevent that. I think that it’s smart that they do this presentation to kids, even though I’m not driving I’m preparing too and it’s never too early to prepare for something. I don’t have my permit yet and I’m still going through drivers ed, but I think this was helpful. I don’t really intend on texting while I drive but now I have more reasons not too. I think asking my mom nicely with the I statements will make a difference and I think that they’re effective on everyone. Even if the distracted driver doesn’t stop at least you know that you probably won’t be distracted when you drive because you don’t want to be selfish.
